Bus Passes

Please use this section if you need to make a payment for a replacement bus pass.

The cost of a replacement First Bus pass is £10

The cost of a replacement Arriva/Hedingham/Chambers pass is £15

Please enter £10 or £15 in the box above before clicking ‘add to basket’

Once your payment has been made, the replacement pass can be collected from the Travel Desk, located in the Student Liaison office, Main Reception area (opening times 8.45am to 3.45pm)

You can purchase a weekly, monthly, termly or annual First Bus pass, all of which are available to Colchester Institute students at discounted rates.

First annual bus passes are valid for the academic year (i.e. September to July); termly passes start and end with the term dates (e.g. 1st September – 17th December); monthly passes are valid from the date purchased for a full month (i.e. 6th September – 5th October); weekly passes are valid for 7 days from date of purchase (i.e. 6th September – 12th September).

Carnet tickets (12 journey tickets, valid for one month from the date of purchase) are also available. Please see table below for ticket prices.
